InfoProviders is an information systems integration business that I started in 1997 while I functioned as the Program manager of a technology innovation center for Navy Medicine. Since that time I have become successful informatics professional with over 14 years of experience managing the full program / project life cycle of clinical, providers, and payer programs. My extensive experience collaborating across the health care organizations while working closely to improve both clinical and business outcomes on multiple complex informatics projects allows me to provide value immediately. PMP and ScrumMaster certified with strong analytical skills eliciting clinical requirements to align with clinical practice and business needs. I have had direct financial accountability for projects of up to 15 million dollars on an annual basis with supervisory responsibilities of 45 plus geographically dispersed IT and health care professionals. PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Directed / managed a team of IT professionals that developed and implement the first certified federal (HHS) EHR for phase 1 meaningful use.
  • Led complex informatics programs and projects of multi-disciplinary cross-functional teams that designed, programmed, and installed IT systems for over 14 years.
  • Effectively transitioned a payer health insurance claims processing system from its development phase to full production on schedule. The system processed 13 billion dollars in annual claims for 9.4 beneficiaries.
  • Successfully designed and installed a system that decreased echocardiogram reads from 57 days to 27 hours. This project saved the facility thousands of dollars annually and improved access to patient care.
  • Wrote the first draft for Microsoft’s engineering guide for the Vista operating system and 2003 server.
  • Led a team of healthcare professionals to a 97% score on our Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations Triennial review, which was the highest score JCAHO awarded in four years at that time.
  • Managed a team of application developers that redesigned Indian Health Service EHR / CPOE systems to meet Phase One of Meaning for use requirements.
  • Facilitated the migration of a team of java developers from a waterfall methodology of project manager to an Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Led a software development team to Capability Maturity Model Integration, level three rating.
  • Successfully led a team of web application developers that transitioned 30 legacy informatics mainframe applications.

  • Chaired Change Control Board for an 11-terabyte health care delivery & payer datacenter rehosting effort
  • Successfully managed the deployment of a Public Key encryption Infrastructure program for a 1,000-employee hospital organization.
  • Led the analyst and implementation of moving a hospital towards ISO 9002 certification by creating an information system that allowed access to all hospital EHR / CPOE policies and procedures electronically via Microsoft’s Personal Information Manager (Outlook).
